Mr Alberto J. Abreu is a respected and passionate leader in the Hospitality sector with over 30 years of experience. Mr Abreu has served in many tourism related institutions such as Asonahores (Asociacion Nacional de Hoteles y Restaurantes de la Republica Dominicana), the JHTA (Jamaica Hotel & Tourism Association), was 2nd VP for CHTA (Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association) where he also served as the Chairman of CAST (Caribbean Alliance of Sustainable Tourism) and is currently a Director for Dominican Republic for CHTA and is a Director for Asoleste (Asociacion de Hoteles del Este). Mr Abreu is the Vice-President of Hospitality at Puntacana Resort & Club in Puntacana, Dominican Republic. He is responsible for the Hospitality operation of the resort which comprises: a 200 unit resort hotel, The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club, a 124 Four Points by Sheraton Puntacana Village and the award winning Leading Small Hotel of the World hotel, Tortuga Bay, the first and currently only AAA 5 Diamond hotel in Dominican Republic, the operation of two golf courses (45 holes), one Tom Fazio course, named Corales and one PB Dye, La Cana.
